JEAN-MICHEL JARRE
plays at BIRMINGHAM NEC '97

On Friday 6th June 1997, I went to the BIRMINGHAM NEC to see JEAN-MICHEL JARRE. This concert was a little disappointing musically as he only performed a couple of numbers I recognised. Most of the tunes performed came from the two previous albums, CHRONOLOGIE, and OXYGENE 7-13.

Another disappointment was that he was fifteen minutes late coming on stage.

However, the light and video show was incredible with lighting that actually moved into different shapes.
